How To Delete Telegram Account?
Now you have seen the truth behind the claims of Telegram providing best security and encryption etc. Telegram has been banned in many countries due to its security concerns and shady reputation.
Therefore, if you are thinking to delete Telegram account permanently, here are the steps by step guide to do so-
Note:– Once deleted, there’s no way of rolling back or recovering your account.
1. Delete Telegram account through Self Destruction
There is more than one way to do so. The first one is through Self destruction. If the user account is inactive for a long time say for six months which is the default time period, Telegram self destructs the account.
But you can customize this time period. As you can change the default time to a shorter time period. For that- Go to the App Settings–>Privacy and Security–> Delete my account if away for–>Account Self-destructs(Select the time period)
With this option, you have the choice to go back to your account if you have changed your mind before the set time period otherwise, the account gets deleted automatically after the specified time limit.
2. Manually Delete Telegram account
If you are searching for the “delete account” option in Telegram, do not as there’s no such option available. For deleting your account instantly, you can use this alternative.
Go to Telegram Deactivation Page–> Enter Contact number(used for account) –>Enter the Confrmation Code–>Give your reason–> Click on Done–>Click on “Yes, delete my account” (for confirmation).

Delete Telegram account
1. Delete Telegram account through Self Destruction-
